Garlic & Herb Chicken


Crockpot Tuesday!  This chicken recipe is very quick and easy and super versatile.  Eat it as is, throw some BBQ sauce on it, make it into a chicken sandwich, eat on top of rice, the possibilities are endless!


Today it was gorgeous out.  This shouldn’t be happening in February in Minnesota.  My kids got to play outside today (provided they got a bit dirty as the ground was wet and muddy from the rain yesterday).  Never-the-less, both kids had a blast running outside for awhile after school today.  I was happy to have thrown this in the crockpot after lunch, so my kid’s dinner was ready when we came back inside.

This is another recipe where there are no “exact” measurements.  Just throw it in the crockpot and sprinkle with some of the seasoning listed below.  It’s really that easy.  Sorry, but is one of those recipes though you really can’t leave in your crockpot all day.  The chicken will dry out.  So, low for 3-4 hours or high for 1-2.


Garlic & Herb Chicken
Chicken Breast
Weber Seasoning, Roasted Garlic and Herb, 7.75 Ounce
Salt & Pepper

1. Throw chicken into the crockpot.  Sprinkle seasoning on top.  Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for 1-2 hours.
2. Serve as desired and season to taste with salt and pepper.


Notes: I cooked one frozen chicken breast on low for 3.5 hours and it came out perfect.  If you are cooking several that are frozen, you will need to add a little time to insure the chicken is fully cooked.
